Intern Program - Investment Analysis
Interns develop and apply critical skills that support our client advisory work in the areas of investment analysis of businesses, funds, fixed income securities and investment market conditions.

The Intern Program is offered as either a one or two year program. Students must have completed their sophomore year.
We offer a structured learning curriculum that is focused on:
Evaluating business models and economic moats.
Reviewing company financial statements and preparing company cash flow analysis.
Participation in the team’s Daily Investment Roundtable (DIR).
Compiling data to evaluate equity investment market conditions, including sentiment.
Preparing analysis of fixed income market conditions, including yield spreads.
Analyzing the financial strength of businesses by performing credit analysis.
Reviewing the performance of investment funds and interpreting the underlying investment strategy being applied by the fund manager.

Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting.
A strong desire to help people by applying your interest in accounting and finance to our work.
Exceptional analytical and communication skills.
Demonstrated orientation to detail, organization, and process.
Ability to work efficiently on an independent basis in a quiet and structured environment.
Must maintain a high level of confidentiality (subject to signed confidentiality agreement).
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required.

Intern Program - Accounting, Administration & Analysis
Interns develop and apply critical skills that support our advisory work in the areas of accounting, administration, financial analysis, investment analysis and communication to serve clients and co-workers.

The Intern Program is offered as either a one or two year program. Students must have completed their sophomore year.
We offer a structured learning curriculum that is focused on practical application of accounting including:
Practical applications of QuickBooks with payroll, paying bills and preparing the firm’s monthly financial statements.
Involvement with annual budgeting and monthly forecasting.
Administering human resource processes that support our team.
Exposure to regulatory compliance processes, technology and cyber-security practices.
Applications of investment portfolio accounting software.
Preparing financial reports for clients and investment advisers.
Exposure to key areas of investment and financial advisory services for families and individuals, including investment analysis, income taxes, estate planning and retirement planning.

Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Accounting.
